Zverev vs Jarry Head-to-Head

Alexander Zverev leads Nicolas Jarry 2-1 in their head-to-head on the ATP Tour. All 3 of their previous meetings came on the clay, with Jarry winning their first in Barcelona back in 2019, and Zverev taking him out in the final of this tournament, 10-8 in the 3rd set tiebreaker that same year.

Zverev vs Jarry Prediction

Zverev has looked great so far, displaying a very high level despite lucking out in his quarterfinal match after Wu was forced to retire 1-4 down. Jarry on the other hand took down 2-time defending champion Casper Ruud in stunning fashion, storming back from a set down to take the next two 7-6 7-5, demonstrating his clay court prowess once more. As he takes on Alexander Zverev, he’ll be fully aware that the German is far from his best, but he still isn’t the favorite in this match. Jarry is a big hitter, but you have to think the conditions here will really favor the serving of Zverev. It won’t be easy with Jarry’s clay court form, but I think Zverev will advance to the final of the 2023 Geneva Open.
