Fils is guaranteed a place inside the top 100, and while he’s got bags of talent, it’s unchartered territory playing his first ATP final against a Tour-level regular. Cerundolo is tried and tested and not to mention how cushy his straight sets beatdown of Norrie was. Fils will get his moment no doubt, but Saturday most likely will be Cerundolo’s.
