Miami Masters 2023: Adrian Mannarino vs Christopher Eubanks Prediction, Odds & Pick

TennisSection previews the 2023 Miami Masters fourth-round match featuring Adrian Mannarino vs Christopher Eubanks on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Adrian Mannarino vs Christopher Eubanks Match Preview

Adrian Mannarino looks to reach his second Masters 1000 quarterfinal at the Miami Masters. But Christopher Eubanks has defied the odds to get here and cannot be counted out. Who will prevail?

Adrian Mannarino’s playing style has wreaked havoc in the Miami Masters draw this fortnight. Nobody is a fan of the flat stroke that Frechman unleashes off his wand, certainly his three opponents in the first week. That run included a stunning upset of No. 8 seed Hubert Hurkacz. The Frenchman improves to 12-8 for the season and will look to reach the last eight in Florida for the first time when he plays top-100 debutant, Christopher Eubanks.

Christopher Eubanks, for his part, has enjoyed his best run at a Masters 1000 tournament. If you watched him a few weeks ago in Acapulco when he lost to 41-year-old Feliciano Lopez, you wouldn’t bet a single dollar on him making it this far at the Miami Masters. But tennis can be such a quick turnaround sport, with every week presenting new opportunities to write off the wrongs of the previous week. And Eubanks has earned three mammoth wins to get to this stage. By virtue of beating Gregoire Barrere on Monday, he is projected to enter the top 100 for the first time in his career.

Adrian Mannarino vs Christopher Eubanks Prediction and Pick

Adrian Mannarino and Christopher Eubanks have not played each other on the ATP Tour, with this fourth-round match at the Miami Masters being their first meeting. Eubanks has the serve to absolutely rip up Mannarino here. But I think he’ll struggle to get going behind the return. Mannarino has a quirky flat stroke that is an absolute money shot. Ultimately, the American will hope he can extend the pre-match favorite to a tiebreak or two. Nonetheless, the odds look right, and Mannarino should advance into his second Masters quarterfinal.
