Eubanks served impeccably throughout the match despite an underwhelming start. He won 11 service games to Coric’s nine, and better numbers overalls, 11 aces to 2, 66% first serves landed to Coric’s 60%. Remarkably, he also countered Coric, by posting healthy numbers behind the return. Eubanks won 42% and 37% behind Coric’s first and second serve respectively. He’s got a shot of reaching the fourth round in a Masters 1000 for the first time when he takes Gregoire Barrere.

Gregoire Barrere earned his very own giant-killing win on Saturday as he handed Cameron Norrie one of his worst losses in recent memory. It was a listless performance by the Briton who was on the court for 64 minutes, barely putting any offensive spark in his game. Barrere blasted 21 winners to Norrie’s six and broke the lefty three times in the match. He won 6-3, 6-2, and sets up a meeting against American qualifier Christopher Eubanks with a spot in the fourth round of the Miami Masters on the line.
