Matteo Berrettini, though one of tennis’ most elite players, is in a vulnerable state at the moment. Let’s see if Molcan is able to capitalize on the Italian’s current form and squeeze out an upset at the 2023 Acapulco Open.

Matteo Berrettini and Alex Molcan have never met before, with this being their first career meeting. It’s not a great matchup for Molcan in my opinion, as he really likes to grind and that’s just not gonna work against Berrettini who loves to step into the court and attack. Molcan will have to up the ante and look to be the aggressor. Let’s see if the Italian can resist and book himself a spot in the next round of the 2023 Acapulco Open.
