With a two-sets-to-love lead over the in-form Frances Tiafoe, Dimitrov completed a seemingly routine win on Sunday – 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 to reach the second week of Wimbledon for the third time.

With his vast array of skills on faster courts, it’s no surprise to see Dimitrov start as the favorite with the bookies. And his devastating straight sets win over Tiafoe will only fuel his confidence and belief that he can still beat the big names. Rune has been through sticky situations and problem-solved his way out of it, but Monday’s opponent might just be out of his reach.
