Musetti got a solid first win to kick off his campaign at this year’s French Open, dispatching Mikael Ymer with relative ease. Shevchenko on the other hand took care of Oscar Otte in four sets, continuing his equally solid form from the lead-up clay season. This will be a really interesting match, in which two players in really decent form will clash. Musetti has had far more experience at this level, and with some of the wins he picked up, he’ll certainly still be the favorite over Shevchenko here. However, Musetti can be unstable at times and I don’t expect this contest to be easy by any means, but the Italian should still come through here at the 2023 French Open.
