Van de Zandschulp may present a tougher challenge for Ruud if we went back in time, but van de Zandschulp isn’t playing his best tennis at the moment, and if Ruud is on his climb back up, I expect him to take down the Dutchman and move through to the Round of 16 once again at the 2023 Miami Masters.

Botic van de Zandschulp just barely managed to squeeze past Alexei Popyrin, an excellent win for him as he must next take on 3rd seed Casper Ruud. Though I don’t expect him to win this time, he’ll certainly play an aggressive brand of tennis and look to blow Casper Ruud off the court if he’s able to here at the 2023 Miami Masters.
