He was 0-40 down on his serve at 5-6 in the third set, but salvaged the situation. And then in the ensuing tiebreak, he came back from 3-6 down to win it 8-6. He set up a meeting against Carlos Alcaraz for a spot in the semifinals.

Felix Auger-Aliassime leads Carlos Alcaraz 3-0 in their head-to-head. They have played some high-stakes matches including the Davis Cup singles rubber between their countries last year where Auger-Aliassime stunned the then World No. 1 Alcaraz in three sets.
