Will John Isner get the win? Will Yibing Wu pull off the upset? This will be an interesting one, where we have a veteran contsting a 31st Tour level final and a youngster having a breakout tournament. Who will triumph and claim the title at the 2023 Dallas Open?

John Isner took out J.J Wolf in impressive fashion, recovering from his injury well to propel himself into the final. Ahead of him stands an unexpected but very dangerous opponent in Yibing Wu. Coming off a massive win and playing at a very high level, if Isner wants to win this one I think he’ll need to do so in the tiebreakers, but Wu is an extremely smart player who doesn’t make many mistakes, so if it gets into the tighter stages of a tiebreaker Wu will be a threatening force here at the 2023 Dallas Open.

Yibing Wu took down Taylor Fritz in an epic 3 set battle, claiming his first ever top 10 win and playing at an extremely high level. John Isner will be a very tough opponent, as he’s been at this stage many times before and is playing some great tennis himself. In order for Wu to win, I think he has to try and come in, not allowing Isner to do what he does best with his serve +1. Let’s see if the young star can manage yet another win against the Veteran with one of the greatest serves of all time here in the finals of the 2023 Dallas Open.

John Isner and Yibing Wu have never met before, with this being their first career meeting. Simply based on his performance against Fritz, I’d like to take the underdog here in Yibing Wu to pull off yet another upset and claim his maiden ATP title. He’s playing some great tennis and I think he has the weapons and the will to pull it off here and claim the championship at the 2023 Dallas Open.
