He is also set to partake at the Adelaide International for the first time when he lines up to face Daniil Medvedev.

Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Sonego have not played each on the ATP Tour. Tuesday’s match at the Adelaide International will be their first official meeting. Medvedev will the firm favorite regardless of where his motivation is at, having expressed his disappointment in not playing in the United Cup. On paper, Sonego represents a very good test for the two-time Australian Open finalist and I expect to have too much nous for the Italian.
