Jack Draper has been playing some amazing tennis this year, but unfortunately has gotten really unlucky with constant injuries, forcing him out of the game for extended periods of time and forcing him out of tournaments. As he comes up against Carlos Alcaraz, he’ll know not only to focus on blasting him off the court, but seeing if he’ll be able to stay with him physically here at the 2022 Basel Open.

Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper have never met before, with this being their first career meeting. It’s a really cool matchup, with two massive hitters with loads of talent. Draper serves massively, and I think on this court, he’ll really be able to get some free points there and try to punish Alcaraz. While I do think Draper has what it takes to win this match, Alcaraz has proven really tough in these kinds of matches, and I expect him to get over the line here at the 2022 Basel Open.
