Jannik Sinner is now ranked in the Top 20 in the world, and I am very sure that with performances like he has been putting on in the last few weeks, he will be sure to rise into the Top 10 within the next year. Jannik Sinner is just such an exceptional talent, and he will be a future Grand Slam champion for sure. However, he is also very humble and knows he still needs to put in the hard work to get over the next opponent in Roberto Bautista Agut.
Roberto Bautista Agut also cruised through his Second Round match, beating his fellow Spaniard, Pablo Andujar, in straight sets 6-4/6-0. Roberto is just an incredible player at the age of 33, having some of the best stamina I have seen from anyone on the ATP Tour, really only comparable to the likes of the Big 3, Andy Murray and Dominic Thiem. Roberto Bautista Agut will know that he had a great performance in his first match here at the 2021 Barcelona Open, but he will have to be at his best here in the Third Round as he meets an opponent who he recently lost to in Jannik Sinner.
