The Hungarian tends to make it a habit of coming out hot in at least one or two tournaments in the year where he seems virtually unbeatable. After coming through qualies, he ousted Denis Shapovalov in his opener, storming from a set down to win in three sets. And he required another three-setter to beat Nick Kyrgios’ conqueror Yibing Wu. I’ve always been relatively cautious with siding with Fucsovics given his fitness record. Last year he retired at this tournament when he made the quarters, and while he may seem like an attractive pick in the sets spread, this looks like a mountain to climb.
