TennisSection previews the 2022 Paris Masters as Stefanos Tsitsipas takes on Dan Evans in the Round of 32 on November 2nd, 2022.

Will Stefanos Tsitsipas get the win? Will Dan Evans pull off the upset? This will be a fascinating one, where two one handed backhands with assertive styles face off. Who will triumph and move through to the Round of 16 at the 2022 Paris Masters?
Stefanos Tsitsipas has not been playing very well since the clay, but has had his moments in the spotlight. As he comes up against Dan Evans here, he’ll know it’s a very good opportunity to get into his groove and adapt to the conditions here. I think the way the courts play here can be pretty good for him, but he’ll need to focus and make sure he’s playing his aggressive brand of tennis at the 2022 Paris Masters.

Dan Evans took down Brandon Nakashima in a tight first round, and as he comes up against Stefanos Tsitsipas, he’ll know he needs a miracle to get through this one. His record against Tsitsipas is horrible, not to mention in general the poor matchup, with Evans liking to slice a lot and Tsitsipas’ heavy forehand doing quite a bit for him to help counter that. Let’s see if the Brit can somehow manage the upset here at the 2022 Paris Masters.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Dan Evans have met 3 times before, with Stefanos Tsitsipas leading the head to head 3-0. Evans has never taken Tsitsipas past 6-3 before, so it’s hard to imagine it’ll look any differently here, but with Tsitsipas’ recent level being so inconsistent, it’s likely Evans will be able to put up at least a little bit of a fight with the Greek eventually taking it in the end to move on at the 2022 Paris Masters.
