Former finalist Andrey Rublev will take on a red-hot Jan-Lennard Struff on Friday at the Monte-Carlo Masters. Who will triumph and move through to the semifinals?

Andrey Rublev took down Karen Khachanov to book his place in the last eight where he will take on an extremely tough and red-hot opponent in Jan-Lennard Struff. If he wants to win this match, he’ll need to serve well and dictate with his forehand. Struff has a ton of power and if he’s going to keep up his level, Rublev will certainly be in danger though he’s still coming in as a slight favorite as these two clash for a place in the last four of the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters.

Jan-Lennard Struff has been playing some excellent tennis, just taking out Casper Ruud 6-1 7-6 (6) to continue his run to the quarterfinals without dropping a set. Struff is an excellent player, particularly on the clay. Despite being injured for the better part of a year, he’s back and playing some of the best tennis I’ve ever seen from him. Andrey Rublev is a player he’s played well in the past, and he’ll need to keep that up if he wants to move through to a first-ever semifinal here at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters.

Struff’s numbers on serve against Ruud were excellent, if he keeps that up, I think he’ll pull off yet another upset and move through to the final four at the 2023 Monte-Carlo Masters.
