Davidovich Fokina plays the kind of tennis that can blow you off the court if you aren’t careful, being able to play from anywhere on the court. Coming up against Djokovic though.. It’s a nightmare matchup. Djokovic will step into the baseline, absorbing all of Fokina’s aggression and playing the clay court tennis that made him the French Open champion. Novak Djokovic and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina have met twice before, with Novak Djokovic leading the head to head 2-0. Proving my point, both meetings that the two had came last season, with Djokovic winning very easily. One came in Rome on the clay, where Djokovic only withheld 3 games. Djokovic will be looking a little rusty I’m sure, but his level of tennis won’t simply go away, he’ll settle pretty quickly and get the win to book himself a spot in the Round of 32 at the Monte-Carlo Masters 2022.
