Miomir Kecmanovic got a very good win over Felix Auger-Aliassime, swatting aside one of the best players in the world with ease. He looks ahead to yet another big hitting opponent in Sebastian Korda. While Korda may be the favorite in the rankings, Kecmanovic is the favorite in terms of level and results this year. Korda had a really tough match in his first go in Miami, so I do expect Kecmanovic to take advantage of the crowd favorite at the 2022 Miami Open.
Sebastian Korda got a hard fought win to set up yet another tough one coming up against the Serbian youngster in Miomir Kecmanovic. Korda has been playing quite great, almost taking down Nadal in Indian Wells and getting past the first stage here, but it was still definitely really a tough match already. Kecmanovic on the other hand is playing some really good tennis, I think it’s also not the best matchup for Korda as the American aims to stay in the tournament of the 2022 Miami Open.
Miomir Kecmanovic and Sebastian Korda have never met before, with this being their first career meeting. The pair have never met before, but both are big hitters who can take down almost anyone on their day. I think since Korda did struggle in his first match while Kecmanovic has been consistent all season so far, Kecmanovic is for sure the form favorite. I wouldn’t count out the young American though as he aims to fight hard for a place in the Round of 16 at the 2022 Miami Open.
