He has a great shot to get through easily as he comes up against Roberto Quiroz, he will likely dismantle his opponent in straights as he aims to get Spain off to a great start at the 2021 Davis Cup Finals.
Roberto Quiroz has been playing a lot of challenger events, being ranked at around 300, he has hardly a chance against Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz can be inconsistent, he’s still young and we’ve seen it in the past. However, for an upset of this magnitude to be pulled off Alcaraz would really have to be off his game, and seeing as the young Spaniard is only getting better, that possibility seems incredibly unlikely. I expect Alcaraz to pull out his massive game to take on Quiroz and get Spain off to a solid start at the 2021 Davis Cup Finals.
Carlos Alcaraz and Roberto Quiroz have never met before, with this being their first career meeting. It’s hard to get too deep into the matchup, as we’ve hardly seen anything from Quiroz while Alcaraz has been at the top of recent tennis news. Considering Alcaraz’s success lately, and the fact that he is only improving, especially mentally and on fast courts, it’s very hard to see Quiroz actually being able to take advantage of any weak spots Alcaraz may be feeling as he aims to pull off a massive upset. Carlos Alcaraz is looking to play some great stuff as he aims to be one of the leaders of his team to a great 2021 Davis Cup Finals.
