However, he will also have to be quite critical of his game as he needs to improve if he wants to now beat the in form Italian, Marco Cecchinato, who can put on some incredible performances on clay once in a blue moon.
Marco Cecchinato has been getting his best tennis out this week here at the 2021 Parma Open, not having lost a set yet, and beating the always tough Aljaz Bedene in the Round of 16 in straight sets 7-5/6-2. Marco Cecchinato will want to ensure his game is at its best for Roland Garros next week as that tournament is a very important tournament for him as it was his best ever tournament result when he reached the Semi-finals in 2018, beating Novak Djokovic along the way. Marco can definitely ruffle some feathers on clay, but he needs to keep this momentum going by beating Norbert Gombos is he wants to continue doing so.
