Zverev vs Bublik Prediction

Alexander Zverev reached the semifinal in Halle for the first time since 2017. He secured his third straight-sets win this week by beating Chile’s Nicolas Jarry 7-5, 6-3. Zverev registered just 12 unforced errors in the match in another accomplished display of power tennis. Even though it took him some time to close it out in the final few games, Jarry finished with a flourish. Nevertheless, he’ll be super happy to get through that one considering the upset Jarry pulled off the previous round.

Alexander Bublik, meanwhile, produced back-to-back upsets to reach the last four. He’s also done Zverev a massive favor in the live rankings, as the battle for the German No. 1 was hotting up. But it looks like Zverev will snatch it this week after his fine run and Struff’s early loss. Bublik is so vested on grass, keeping his composure and concentration intact throughout, and he was able to defeat Jannik Sinner in the quarters (Sinner retired 5-7, 0-2 down). Bublik has a winning record over Zverev, and up until Monte Carlo this year, he was 2-0 against the German. But Zverev got a gutsy win at the Principality in three sets in the early stages of his comeback. But the home favorite has clearly hit a purple patch and might go all the way this week and claim that elusive first title in Halle.
