Zverev vs Shapovalov Head-to-Head
Alexander Zverev leads Denis Shapovalov 4-3 in this thrilling head-to-head. The Canadian won their last bout in straight sets at the 2022 Australian Open. None of their previous seven meetings were contested on grass, so this will be their first collision on the lawns.

Zverev vs Shapovalov Prediction
Alexander Zverev produced an emphatic serving display to defeat Dominic Thiem 6-3, 6-4, kicking off his grasscourt season in the best possible manner. Zverev won 29 out of 34 first-serve points and was not broken on serve in the 80-minute contest. Thiem was the player who struggled mightily to adjust having played a clay-court tournament this past week.
Zverev’s reward is a second-round showdown against Denis Shapovalov who won his opener on Monday. The Canadian beat bigs-serving South African Lloyd Harris 7-6, 6-4. It’s been a brutal campaign for Shapovalov who picked up just his 10th win of the season, while Zverev has twice that number of wins. Still, don’t expect these two players to give away too many breaks of serve. They are serving behemoths, while it would be best to look at the games here, Zverev’s consistency in his results and ball striking gives him the edge.
