As he comes up against Daniil Medvedev, he’s going to have a tough, tough time. In order to win this one, he’s going to have to hope Medvedev won’t be at his best. As unfortunately for the Brit, Medvedev is simply too good on hardcourts when he’s on as he looks to make a return to form and claim the title here at the 2022 Los Cabos Open.

Daniil Medvedev and Cameron Norrie have met one time before, with Daniil Medvedev leading the head to head 1-0.Their one meeting came at the 2019 Shanghai Masters, with Medvedev winning very easily 6-3 6-1. Granted, Norrie was hardly the player he is today, just recently turning pro. Medvedev ended up going all the way to that tournament, and I expect him to repeat that feat here as he’s simply looking too good and Norrie doesn’t have the weapons to compete as Medvedev looks ahead to the trophy at the 2022 Los Cabos Open.
