Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has been playing some great tennis, and while you might expect him to pull off the upset here, it will not be easy by any means. Hubert Hurkacz has a lot of weapons, it’ll be more difficult for Hurkacz to hurt ADF on the clay, but he can still do it and I by no means expect a straightforward match from either side of the net. Hurkacz will need to play aggressively, and if he can maintain a high level of serving then I think he can be competitive as he aims to stay alive at the 2022 Madrid Open.
